Apple Event: iPhone 12 Lineup, Expected Price and Specifications

Apple is hosting an event today where the company likely unveil the iPhone 12 lineup. The event takes place virtually. Today we likely see a total of four variants which is under the iPhone 12 series along with 5G support. The company is formally calling the event “Hi, Speed” which is enough to speculate a faster experience through the new iPhone 12 series. The rumor suggests that we are going to see something related to a new HomePod speaker or over-the-ear headphones.

iPhone 12 Specifications

The iPhone 12 series may come with an OLED Super Retina XDR full LCD displays and feature a Ceramic Shield glass cover on top.  It may come equipped with Apple A14 Bionic chipset and may run on iOS 14 out-of-the-box. The device may come in two different non-expandable storage variants – 64GB and 128GB.

The iPhone 12 models offering different camera specifications. For iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 are said to have dual rear cameras. The camera sensors may include a 12MP main camera and a 12MP telephoto lens. For selfies, the handset is likely to offer a 12MP camera at the front. The iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max would provide triple rear cameras, with the third camera as a LiDAR Sensor. The iPhone 12 Pro Max is also likely to have a unique super-wide-angle camera capability.

The iPhone 12 mini is said to have a 5.4-inch display, while the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro would come with a 6.1-inch display. The iPhone 12 Pro Max, on the other hand, may offer a 6.7-inch display. 

iPhone 12 series would support 15W wireless charging. The battery capacity is yet not known but it is expected that Apple may bring an upgraded battery having longer battery life as compared to the existing Apple iPhone 11 lineup. All four models have almost the same aesthetics the difference is in color option.

iPhone 12 Series Expected Price

The iPone 12 mini carried a price tag of Rs. 51,000, iPhone 12 Rs. 58,600,  iPhone 12 Pro Rs. 73,200, and iPhone 12 Pro Max Rs. 80,600.
