iPhone SE (2020) was launched on Wednesday after a few years from the first iPhone SE. The first iPhone SE was launched in 2016. This phone is the most affordable smartphone from Apple. This phone is also known as the new iPhone SE or iPhone SE 2nd generation.

It has a 4.7-inch display which is similar to iPhone 8. This time they used the iPhone 8 physical aspect and Apple’s A13 Bionic chipset which is also powered in iPhone 11 series. iPhone SE (2020) runs on iOS 13 out-of-the-box and has a touch id sensor for fingerprint unlock.

Design and Display

iPhone SE has a 4.7-inch Retina HD IPS LCD display on the iPhone SE (2020) that has 750×1334 pixels resolution. The display gives the brightness of 625 nits. The device also has HDR10, Dolby Vision and Haptic touch like-new iPhone series.

Camera

In this new iPhone SE, it has a single 12-megapixel camera at back in spite of Dual, Tripple and Quad cameras. It has an f/1.8 aperture + OIS. It supports 4k recording on 60 FPS and has HDR support for photos. The phone also has a 7-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture. The device can take a portrait shot with a single rear camera.

Hardware and Performance

iPhone SE (2020) powered with Apple’s A13 Bionic chipset with Apple GPU (4-core graphics). It comes with three storage variants 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB. It also has three colour variants Black, White and Red.

It has 18Watt fast charging support which can charge the phone 50% in 30 minutes. The device supports 4G connectivity and it does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The price of the device in India starts from Rs. 42,500 for the 64GB storage variant, Rs. 47,800 for 128GB storage variant, and Rs. 58,300 for the 256GB storage variant.
