Poco X3 has been launched in India today via a virtual event that was streamed on the company’s official Social handles and Youtube. The Poco X3 is the successor of Poco X2 that was launched in February 2020. Poco X3 will go on sale via Flipkart.
Poco X3 Specification
The Poco X3 gets a 6.67-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels and offers a pixel density of 405 PPI and 120Hz refresh rate with 240Hz touch sampling rate and HDR10 certification. it has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for display protection. The phone comes with a dual punch hole cut out that houses the dual selfie cameras. The phone also features a rear quad-camera setup on the top left. Poco X3 features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The dual-SIM (Nano) Poco X3 runs on MIUI 12 for Poco, based on Android 10. The Poco X3 is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G SoC, Adreno 618 GPU, with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM.
Talking about Camera, the Poco X3 has a quad rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel Sony IMX682 primary sensor with an f/1.73 lens, a 13-megapixel sensor with a 119-degree wide-angle f/2.2 lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 lens, and lastly a 2-megapixel macro shooter with f/2.4 aperture. The rear camera can shoot 4K videos at 30FPS. On the front, you get a 20-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 lens, housed in the hole-punch cutout, also the front camera offers 1080p recording at 30FPS.
The Poco X3 powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 732G chip coupled with 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.1 onboard storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB).
The various connectivity options on Poco X3 might include 4G (supports Indian bands), 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi 802.11, b/g/n, mobile hotspot, Bluetooth, GPS, and 3.5 mm audio jack. Poco X3 will come with different sensors such as an accelerometer, light sensor, gyroscope, and proximity sensor. There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner as well and the phone is rated IP53for water and dust resistance. The Poco X3 is packed with a huge 6,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. As per the claims by Poco, you will be able to charge the Poco X3 from zero to 100% in 65 minutes. Lastly, the Poco X3 measures 165.3×76.8×9.4mm and weighs 215 grams.
Poco X3 price in India
The Poco X3 is priced at Rs. 16,999 for the base 6GB + 64GB storage model, at Rs. 18,499 for the 6GB + 128GB storage model, and Rs. 19,999 for 8GB + 128GB storage. The phone comes in two color options – Cobalt Blue and Shadow Grey. It will go on sale in the country via Flipkart starting September 29, 12 pm (noon).
